yes that could happen easily, but using multiple dies (for bigger max cpu size), and the new transistor type will be more important and arrive sooner

Neat, maybe this can come save us from the insane nand and dram prices? 

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Nope. The dram and nand industry is focusing on planar tech at larger nodes with 3d integration. Going to >10nm isn't cost effective for memory. Plus, the dram and nand shortage has to do with lack of supply, not high manufacturing prices

yeah true. there is probably a bit of artificial limiting going on somewhere in there too -_- either way i hope that shit stops soon, a stick of RAM was like $20 before, now its like doubbe -_-
