EVGA G3 price differences

So I will have to buy new PSU because mine is running at 100% when playing Witcher with everything overclocked and when it gets warm it shuts down my PC (4 year old PSU, still great but not for my current system).

 

I am going for EVGA G3 because I am sucker for SuperFlower units.

I will be most likely picking the G3 650W unit but I was also considering the 750W unit but wtf is this price jump?

 

550W -95€

650W - 100€

750W - 135€

 

Has the 750W something extra I don't know about (beside wattage) that makes it so much more expensive or is the price jump just because of the more high end territory?

It has a 10-year warranty while the 650/550w have 7 years.

That makes sense. I though that all of them have 10-year.

So I can buy the 650W and purchase extra warranty from EVGA website and it will be just below the 750W price point which justifies the 750W price, got it.

Just remember that with EVGA you have to "register" your product in order to get that 10 year warranty.  Otherwise you only get 5 years.
