LED light bulbs seem the new way to go compared to cfl and everywhere I look seem to be more efficient than their cfl counterparts. However, I once read that led light bulbs become less efficient the hotter they get. If this is true, then is there a certain point in which using a bulb for a long period of time would mean a cfl would use less power? This always caught my interest (who knows why) and I can't find a good article online that has information about it. Maybe someone knows of how an led's efficiency changes as it heats up and what impact that has compared to a cfl of equal output over a period of time. Would be interesting to look at.
