why does my ram say N/A

How do I get my ram past the default speed? I have a team group Vulcan DDR4 3000. https://m.newegg.com/products/20-313-777?iscoz=true

NA becase you don't have RAM in that slot 

 

you turn on XMP to get your ram to run faster

if your system works and recognizes and lets you use all ram in windows its fine  

 

make sure its in all the way

as you can see profile 2 is set to 3000, so use that profile

If this fails some home how any my pc turns on and off what should I do

Reset CMOS if there's a button on the board to do so.

Otherwise it will probably boot up and say overclock failed and let you jump right back into BIOS.

Okay so it happen but i just let it keep turning on and off until it was stable till eventually I got into bios, it was the XMP it was doing somthing to cause it.

Update, I did the profile 2 and when I shut down my pc kept turn on and off eventually it went stable and I quickly went to the bios and switched to profile 1 and it seems to be fine
