How much watt psu do i need for

8gb ddr3

I5 3470s

Gt 1030

1 tb hard drive

1 cd drive

Its a prebuilt pc, so i cant find find about other things, but whats the most watts that such a basic pc like this needs?

Well be aware that most prebuilt pc uses their own PSU so if you buy new PSU it might not even fit

I tried to look up the model online, but no information is available, i opened up the pc to insert the gt 1030 and 4 gb ram

What's the brand on the front of the PC?  If it's just something a shop "pre-built", it's probably standard ATX stuff.  

 

The pre-built stuff that doesn't tend to be standard are the big brands like Dell, HP, Lenovo.

Brand is Chinese? Most PSU OEMs are either Chinese or Taiwanese.

What is the brand? Also it likely isn't bad if it is in a Lenovo prebuilt.

Lenonvo is Chinese.

 

And if you mean "the PSU is Chinese" as in "the label is written in Chinese", that's normal for China.  So if the brand name is in Chinese, the PSU might still have a model number that uses regular roman letter like "AT-500" or "GW-400" or something like that.

 

So, at this point, it's best to just measure the L x W x D of the PSU and see what you have there.  If it's 150mm x 140mm x 86mm, it's standard ATX.

it says max output not exceed 170w

which i guess isnt enough for a gt 1030 and i5 3470s and 8 gbs of ram(check the main post)
