Screwed up audio multitasking

Go to solution Solved by doits,

First of all your grammar made me read post a few times to understand what you mean. From my interpretation, your pc should see the tv as another audio device. Set your headphones as default sound device. Then in discord/skype set audio output to whatever your tv is instead of default output. Now only that program will output sound to your tv.

just plugged a tv into my gpu for a second monitor, kuz y not and its screwing up my audio. I wan my games and skype/discord/teamspeak to play on my headphones and youtube to play on the tv speakers but the thing cant deside what aplications to play where. when i desiginate the headphones as the default audio the communications app plays on the tv and if i do it with the tv as default everything plays on that. Is there an app or a configuration that would help this so that i could choose what applications play on what device. Ps my tv is hooked up throug hdmi from the gpu and the headphones are from front panel 3.5mm. thx
