I'm looking to update my i5 4690k@3.5GHz and would like some suggestions. That's about it.

Do you want to upgrade on same platform?

What are you using your PC for? just games or also streaming and video editings?

Purpose of PC? If just gaming, would be fine for most things. 

Please quote our replys so we get a notification and can reply easily. Never cheap out on a PSU, or I will come to watch the fireworks.

Currently just hypothetical. Mostly gaming but I'm getting into some heavier video editing/rendering.

In that case get R5 1600 or R7 1700.

Check if you can aford any of those CPUs.

 

But you will also need to buy new motherboard and DDR4 ram sticks. Just keep that in mind.
