mobo, cpu, and hdd

to get a better understanding on how expensive hardware is here.. i bought my 1050 (non Ti) for around $129 converted from Php 6500
I don't see ryzens getting cheaper in the next few years but would a 4th gen i3/i5 bring a much of a difference in gaming? I usually play gta v, csgo, wot, and some emulators- PPSSPP, RPCS3.. My performance on csgo and wot is already fine but gta v goes as low as below 30 sometimes and goes up to only 43 mostly on the city, 60 when there is nothing and rpcs3, given that its an emulator, is running fine but there are a few hiccups...
4th gen means another new mobo since it uses socket 1150, so hell no.
Q9450 overclocked is roughly as fast a the slowest 4th gen i5.
It's kind of pointless to replace a quite old product with a still old product now so you can upgrade to another just-as-old product in the future.
