Please, God someone help me. My work computer won't boot into Windows. The troubleshooting report says that it's an AppxStaging issue, and I'm a fucking pleb outside of hardware. There are very valuable pieces of information on my hard drive, and I don't have the money to get a new one. That computer is how I make rent, so I desperately need it up and running again. Previous backups aren't working, and I'm at a loss. Help me Obi Wan.

Just now, NinJake said:

Work computer... do you have a base image to restore to?

If you need to restore, load up a live linux USB and transfer any data you can to an external drive before restoring and you'll be golden.

I don't have an external hard drive

This computer is a horse racing statistics database with algorithms. I'm in Vegas, this is nothing illegal. People pay me and my friend for picks, and I am barely making rent. My friend develops the programming, I just plug data. Our external HDD fried a couple of months back, and we haven't had time or money to pick up another 2TB to pick one up. If I don't eat for the rest of the week, I have $36 that isn't allocated to bills. My friend is in the Philippines at the moment for a wedding, usually he takes care of stuff like this; so, the onus is on me to have this up and running by next Monday.
