Just ordered. Tips welcome.

I just ordered all the parts for my new rig. Here's my build.

Everything will be here by next week. Any small tips or tricks you guys can give to make the build time easier or more enjoyable? This is father son project so any advice is appreciated. Thanks guys.

Good music, cold beer, maybe some grass and take your time to figure stuff out with your son/father.

Magnetic screw driver. Somewhere to sort the screws (although to be completely honest I don't know if I am even using motherboard stand off screws for my motherboard XD)

Oh, and some tools are also usefull. Like a screwdriver, zip ties and some wire cutters. (to cut them zip ties) Just take your time, and make it look good.

Hahaha. I figured a magnetic screw driver is a must. Would a socket like screw driver be worth it, or just peasantry?

What is a "socket like screwdriver"? And what do you mean by peasantry? Back in the day I would use my knife to play with them screws. (just a smaller + shaped screwdriver will be fine, even the budget ones. It's "small electronics", and when you break even the low budget screwdrivers, you are doing something wrong...)

Lol nevermind. I'll just use a normal screwdriver with a magnetic tip.
