weird vsync issues...

hi all,

i'm having some really weird vsync issues. i think it has to do with my gpu config, but i'm not sure...

my specs:

mobo: Asus P5Q Deluxe

cpu: Core 2 Quad q9550

ram: 6GB

gpu's: Radeon hd 6670, Radeon hd 6450

os: antergos (arch based distro) with xfce desktop, but this issue also occurd on kde, gnome and pantheon

Now, i have 3 monitors, a 1080p one, and 2 1440x900 displays beside it. 2 of them are plugged into the 6670, and 1 in the 6450. (1080p is plugged in via dvi, the others are using vga)

if i enable the 2 1440x900's, i get vsync issues on my primary 1080p display, but only the top part of the screen.

basically from the chrome adress bar up. in that area of the display, i also get a flashing and vanishing cursor.

i searched google for 2 hours last night for a solution, and didn't find one.

things i have tried: compton, plugging the displays in diffrent ports on the gpu's, adding a third gpu (geforce 8500gt) (that really didn't work, my whole machine freaked out.)

Because it's giving you issues.

And what 2 isn't enough? I have 3 and that's more than enough.

I would try this just to see what happens. Sli, and crossfire aren't as stable as single GPUs in Linux.

If the the issue persists try removing the other card and see what happens.
