I've been having an issue with my usb headset. Ive gotten atleast 2 years of use out of it and now im getting random disconnect and reconnects. After all my troubleshooting I've come to the conclusion it must be the headset on deaths door. I just wanted to ask what are the chances of the usb port being the actual culprit? None of my other devices has this issue and happens in every usb port of tried (including case usb ports and motherboard usb ports). The cable has spun on it sellf thousands of times and im sure something in there is messed up but I want to know if there are any ways to test if this can be a powersupply or a port issue. I cant really duplicate the issue by fondeling with the headset but i do notice that it happens after picking the headset back up and putting them on. Any Ideas?

My psu is a little under 2 years old. It is a 430 Evga Gold Certified PSU

Can you use it on another pc?

Ive tried recreating the issue on another pc but because it sometimes happens hours apart i wasn't able get it to happen on my google chromebook. Wouldnt my other usb devices have this issue if it was a power issue? None of my other usb devices actually malfunction and crash like my headset does.
