Hello,

I was searching about case fans for my Fractal Design Mini C case. I currently have and i7 7700k @ Stock and a GTX 1050 Ti. I was planning on installing in the front two 140mm from Noctua NF-A14 PWM and in the back a Noctua NF-P12 PWM or leaving the stock case fan there. I'm planning to upgrade the GPU in the next year or two and overclocking the CPU.

Thanks in advance.

PS: I'm using the dust filters. Or should I take different case fans?

put the two included ones in the top of the case and make them exhaust air along with the rear one and use the two 140mm noctua fans in the front as intake

Thanks for your answer. I want to avoid removing the top panel because it's very dusty here and even with the dustfilter the PC needs to be cleaned every month.

Why not just stick with the stock case fans?

The included dust filter is pretty good though. How's your current cooling configured and what speed are you running your fans at?

Front: Inlet

Back: Exhaust.

The CPU cooler is oriented horizontally. At the moment the fans and the CPU cooler are at 100% due to 35 degrees Celsius in my room.

They have a very low CFM (50) and now they have trouble with "pumping" air into the case. I live in Spain (30 Celsius or more in the summer)

In hot environments it's crucial to have good airflow.

When it comes to Noctua 2x NF-A14 PWM and 1x NF-S12A PWM will provide enough airflow while still being quiet.

Thank you very much for the advice. The CPU package doesn't go lower than 40 Celsius even now during night time. I will post an update when I installed these fans. How about the be quiet fans, are they also good for this use case?

What cooler are you using and what are your temps?

How are you determining that they're not pulling enough air in?

40c is low--why do you want it lower?

be Quiet fans are decent, but I personally hate the Silent Wings 3 because of their noise.

What noise are you referring to? SW3's should be very quiet.

The problem of my system is that on idle the temps are around 40 Celsius, under load these go to the mid 70s on my i7 7700k. I'm using an Cyrorig H7. I can determine that they don't suck "any" air in because the exhaust is not exhausting nearly any "wind".

I have an Z270g motherboard therefore I only have two proper Casefan header. Where can I plug the third fan in? Or should I get an fan hub i addition to that?

Don't expect a 15°C decrease in temperatures though.

I know that, but when I encode my Tv recordings (5 hours a day) I'm not very comfortable with 80-90 Celsius on the hottest core. In addition now in July it's only 30 degrees Celsius but in August and September the temperatures can rise up to 45 degrees. So I want to be prepared as best as possible.

40c is fine for idle temps and 70-80c isn't high for load.

If you mean that you're using your hand to measure airflow, don't--it's not a good tool for that.

What's your core voltage under load? You can check with software like cpu-z. Leaving it at Auto may be too much for the H7.
