Hi there!

About a month ago I made a new build but I didn't buy a graphics card with it, I couldn't afford them both at the time.

Now I have the money to buy a graphics card, I wanted to get a gtx 1070 but I see that they are expensive as hell now.

What should I do? I don't think a gtx 1080 is worth the price as I'll be paying only in 1080p.

This is my current build:

Try to go for used maxwells, from GTX 970 and above

Just now, osaizar said:

Ok, most of you suggest buying a used gtx 970 or gtx 980. I'm not very comfortable with the idea, but I'll look into that.

What about waiting? Do you think that the prices will drop in a month or so? How's Ethereum mining looking on the short term?

eventually prices will drop, it seems like they have slowly started to drop but nobody knows ecactly when it will be normal again. I think that in a month it will be better than now but maybe not quite normal.
