Biostar x370 gtn itx discussion

Go to solution Solved by YongKang,

Hey, if you're worried about your choice, TweakTown did a in-depth review of this little board.

here's the link: http://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/8236/biostar-x370gtn-gaming-motherboard-review/index.html

Steven explain everything in it. So, I suggest you to go read it and if you have any more problems or worries, come back here. :)

I bought this mobo when it was available and planning on building a system when the craze ends, nothing crazy, r5 1600, 16gb and (hopefully) a 570, 580 or 1060 inside a thermaltake core v1

Could someone help me with this mono choice? Should I sell mine and go for the other ones or keep this one? I heard very mixed feedback about biostar

I wanted to keep the stock cooler and OC my chip to 3.6Ghz, maybe 3.7 if that's still quiet. I could upgrade cooling solution in the future to a be quiet! Or Noctua air cooler

It's decent but definitely needs improvement such as: WLAN, not a high end chipset, better power connector (4 pin instead of 8 pin). But they cut too many corners on this they really should improve on it with the suggestions I suggested but they won't listen to the minority *Ahem* Wargaming *Ahem*

Im mostly on discord now and you can find me on my profile

It's not really a great board for an enthusiast, because of the 4-pin plug for the CPU connector. The only good option right now are the Fata1ity ITX Ryzen boards from AsRock.

Main Gaming PC (new): HP Omen 30L || i9 10850K || RTX 3070 || 512GB WD Blue NVME || 2TB HDD, 4TB HDD, 8TB HDD ||  750W P2 ||  16GB HyperX Black DDR4

Main Gaming PC (old, still own) : Intel Core i7 7700K @5.0Ghz || GPU: GTX 1080 Seahawk EK X || Motherboard: Maximus VIII Impact || Case: Fractal Design Define Nano S || RAM : 32GB Corsair Vengeance LPX

Cooling: EK XRES D5 100mm || Alphacool ST30 280mm w/ Vardars || Alphacool ST30 240mm w/ Vardars || Swiftech 3/8 x 1/2'' Lok-Seal Compressions || Swiftech EVGA Hydrocopper Block || Primochill Advanced LRT Orange || Distilled Water

Folding@Home Rig: 2x X5690s @4.6Ghz || GPUs: 2x Radeon HD 7990 || Motherboard: EVGA SR-2 || Case: Corsair 900D || RAM: 48GB Corsair Dominator GT 2000Mhz CL9

Ethereum Mining Rig: Pentium G4400 || Gigabyte Z170X-UD5 TH || 2x GTX 1060s (Samsung & Hynix) 1x GTX 1070 (Micron), 2x RX480s BIOS modded (Samsung), 1x R9 290X 8GB, 1x GTX 1660 Super = ~ 195 Mh/s

I was looking up on these, they seam better, why everything has to be red and black tho? Anyway, do you think it is worth selling my current one (still unused), waiting and getting one of these? Or it is decent enough to keep it?
