I am not sure. Every time I turned on my computer to see if the issue had been resolved, It went to normal Widows, but very very slow. Sometimes a kind of error came up saying "Your computer couldn't turn off properly" after I turned it on, and came up with different options like proceed to Windows, but that made no difference.

I pressed it because my screen stared to flicker.

OK, wellll that is not a good reason to hit the reset button that button is reserved as the last resort in restarting your system when it hangs. You may have inadvertently corrupted something.

I suggest you start quoting people so we can keep the conversation with a  good flow... so we know who you are speaking to.

I'd check various things.

1) Connections, like all of them.

2) Drive health.

3) Maybe use something like Ccleaner to speed things up/optimize it.  I mean you could use one like ASC, but a lot of them have placebo effects/tells you that you need to buy shit to fix it or exaggerates things.

4)  Virus scan Malwarebytes and/or Kaspersky or BitDefender.

5) If you got any error messages check for a report on that in the OS's utilities.

6) It is possible in some cases that a driver is causing a conflict.

What

No, like deleting the OS off the HDD or SSD and completely reinstalling it by using an OS disk or flash drive.  It will factory reset it.

Should I try going to Settings - Update & security - Recovery? I use Windows 10 Home 64 bit by the way.

You can try, but if that fails another option is to do a clean install.  I'd back up anything you care about it that can't be installed again, like important documents, and having it remove anything to avoid issues.

I completely forgot you could do it through the settings, which I think is what you meant.

Oh OK. Only thing I have on my computer is games lol. I'll try, hope it goes well
