Hey guys!

Had a previous thread about simple OCing and I finally found what I thought was a stable OC for my 6700k at 4.7. My issue now is the extremely random bsod that I get. They are most definitely not right away. It happens two hours+ in and usually happens moreso when at idle. I've games easily 3-4hours with no issue but the moment it's not on load things get a bit crazy.

I read on a few other sites that turning off xmp (my Mobo is the Asus z170AR) and running my ram that way may help the issue.

Otherwise temps are under 75 and everything else is okay.

Any suggestions or hints would be help!

You could increase Vcore one notch if you're not too high already. Also: what does the bsod say? if the crash is memory related it may help to increase the memory voltage a little bit.

Did you stress test your OC extensively? I typically don't trust an OC until its stable after 8-12h of burn in.
