You can make a Portable screen with the laptop screen if you don't mind sparing ~$50

thtas why I got the screen out and for you other person the laptop has already been replaced and it was just to see if something was loose in it because of hard drive trouble on another computer and this was easy to swap drives now I will have to just buy a sata to usb adapter

Do you have a PC? If so you can use a SATA cable to use the drive (all HDDs except IDE can be used in the same system) IDE looks like this

Take it to Best Buy. If you can somehow, some way get it to boot into Windows, they'll give you a $75 gift card for it until the 15th.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.
