Connection speed requirements for Streaming

Is this enough for FLAWLESS 1080p streaming or I could benefit from higher speed? if so, i can get 100mbs d/u

 

also what are the requirements for 4K streaming?

TL:DR 

• 500 Kbps – lowest required speed for streaming
• 1.5 Mbps – recommended speed for quality viewing
• 3 Mbps – Standard Definition video
• 5-8 Mbps – 720p and 1080p High Definition
• 25 Mbps – 4K Ultra High Definition

then just try it your self? Everyones network is different. Is should be more than enough though.

Thing is, I also had some additional questions that I couldn't find in any articles, so I wanted to discuss this.

My current build is Ryzen 7 1700/16gb DDR4 3200

Don’t have a VGA yet because of obvious reasons so while I’m waiting for Vega I have to stream on GTX 460

So, assuming I’m planning to stream games that DO NOT HAVE significant GPU requirements, in fact these games have very low requirements. can play on my GTX 460 super fast.

Now, I’m clueless about streaming and what I need to know is if my VGA will affect the stream quality, in a bad way ofc.

While PLAYING these games is not an issue for GTX460, I have no idea if 460 can handle streaming

The only way the GPU would affect streaming is if you used it to stream with, which you wont with the 1700. Use your CPU and it will have zero impact on the stream.
