Hi everyone, I currently own the MSI GTX 1060 Gaming x 6GB, and I was mining ethereum with it. Originally, I would only get around 19 mH/s, but I overclocked the memory with MSI Afterburner to around 24 mH/s (+920mHz). However, at random times, when AB isn't open, the hashrate will return to 19 mH/s. As soon as I manually open up Afterburner it returns to 24 mH/s. I was wondering why the GPU only overclocks when Afterburner is open. Thanks, Protolate

Hey,

Often it does only work with it open, however you can set it to boot with your OS, as well as saving profiles and making it boot so that it is in the tray, this is done in order to ensure a safe overclock as AfterBurner has settings built in to prevent damage so you will have to have it open when you want to over clock

Hope this helps,

TT
