I made a PC build based off the SkyTech Archangel GTx 1050 edition and it is $150 dollars cheaper and the only difference is case, I just wanted some advice on whether i should change something to something else, but i dont want to pay more (Budget of $520) If you find something that is better please feel free to tell me. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/M97r8K . Save a bit more money and get a skylake/kaby lake i3 6100/7100, it will perform about on par with the 6300, but will give you much more room for an upgrade when the time comes, the 6300 is way too outdated for modern gaming. My old rig had an 8350 and even that overclocked to 4.4 GHZ wasn't performing well. FX CPU's aren't for gaming anymore, but can be used for other lighter tasks.

This used to be a signature with a bunch of specs, but they're outaded.

Well this isn't going to be a permanent build, just temporary for now because it is better than my SFF PC.

If it's not permanent, I assume you plan to upgrade it in the future, issue is that with the FX line up, you have nothing to upgrade to.

Maybe just wait until Ryzen 3 comes out, what you want might be in that lineup.

What CPU is in your SFF PC? you might be able to just upgrade to a SFF 1050 if you want.

Switch to G4560 based thing, get a better psu, other than that looks good.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Bwr7jc Total is 537$, which I know is over budget, but you have more upgrade headroom, and you don't need that many fans.

Why 6100 when G4560? And why DDR3? Psu also isn't good.

Yeah the pentium could do well too. I didn't see the DDR3, and the 500b is fine, it's been in my friend's PC for a while.

Oh yeah, okay 330$

NVM, 350$, his budget was 520$. The RAM was added as only 4GB is in that system.

Yeah, great idea with the pre-built HP, I did the same thing with a friend, and he got a nice 3470/1060 system, this guy could probably do the same thing.

That doesn't mean it's a great choice tho. For the price you can get much better PSUs.

Pentium added, and upgraded to DDR4

I hope you have a copy of Windows BTW

Why aftermarket cooler tho? Money would be better spent on an ssd
