I'd get the Acer since it's cheaper, unless you need the 10-Bit color and 100% sRGB on the ASUS.

The Acer one saves you a little bit of money, but I'd go with the ASUS one.

Will you notice the extra 21fps though? And do you have a PC capable of driving that refresh rate?

Nice build! And if you think it's worth it for the few extra Hz, then I'd go for the ASUS. What games do you play though? 144Hz should be fine for everything, unless you're playing Overwatch or CS:GO competitively.

Well they are both capable of 165hz. I made this build to play ow competitively and play basically every story game (dishonored 2, bioshock infinate, etc) with all the eye candy and at a high fps. I don't mind the difference of 50 bucks but if the acer would be way better then I'd get that. I've just seen lots of bickering about bad quality control between both companies and that the menu navigation on the acer is really bad. I just want the best experience possible. But I don't want to spend more than the 750-800 mark.

I think you'll be fine with either one. The Acer is a nice monitor, but ASUS is also known for great displays. Just get whichever has the features you want and matches your build best.
