Hi,

I want headphones that can cancel the noise of my AC (it's in my room). I also want heaphones that won't make my ears feel hot after hours of gaming (if even possible) and that are comfortable. Won't post a budget since I know these features are kinda hard to respect at once.

Thanks.

Well that is a double edged sword. To get good noise cancellation and noise isolation it will mean that it has a good seal to your head. Which intern means little to no ventilation. But if you don't care about it getting a little hot then the Bose QC 25 cannot be beat in terms of noise cancellation.

They don't have to be 100% noise canceling. Would normal headphones make me able to hear my games?

So there are two types of noise reduction. Noise isolation which is just thick ear cups and decent seal around the ear. (Think studio monitors) and then there are active noise cancellation. Which uses microphones to pick up ambient noise and generates an anti-noise. (Essentially canceling the noise). While this may be a hold recommendation I used the ATH-M50x back in the day and it worked fine. I didn't like it too much because it was leather. I currently use a nice pair of Sennheiser HD 558 with a mod mic. But this is the exact opposite of what you want. The HD 558 are open headphones which are very comfy and vents are great but also you can hear pretty much everything. Which in my situation is great. Also open headphones sound more natural and directional awareness is greatly enhanced.

The salesman sold me some HyperX cloud 2. I will try them and return if I got some issues. First look, it seems they get hot when on for a long time
