You ignored his case, but great build.

This used to be a signature with a bunch of specs, but they're outaded.

EDITED FOR COMPATIBILITY.

CPU: Intel - Core i5-7600K 3.8GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($227.88 @ OutletPC)

Really your only choice.
Motherboard: MSI - Z270-A PRO ATX LGA1151 Motherboard  ($109.89 @ OutletPC)

Generally I don't like MSI, but this'll have to do.
Memory: Corsair - Vengeance LED 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2666 Memory  ($102.99 @ Amazon)

If you don't plan on buying now, just find whatever ram is on sale
Storage: Western Digital - Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  ($48.44 @ OutletPC)

You plan on editing, which takes plenty of storage, so no SSD... because of the case.
Video Card: Gigabyte - GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Windforce OC Video Card  ($434.98 @ Newegg)

Good Price to Performance usually.
Power Supply: Corsair - RMx 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply  ($104.99 @ Newegg)
Solid PSU, shouldn't cause you problems, pretty.

Operating System: Microsoft - Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit  ($92.99 @ Amazon)

You need one of these
Other: Deepcool Case ($300.00)         =(
Total: $1547.48

This case really causes problems for making a well rounded system in your budget for your needs.

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 1600 3.2GHz 6-Core Processor  ($199.99 @ SuperBiiz)

Good Balance between a video editing and Gaming CPU

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master - Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler  ($20.99 @ Newegg)

Solid cooler, had to scimp a bit because of case.
Motherboard: Asus - STRIX B350-F GAMING ATX AM4 Motherboard  ($96.98 @ Newegg)

Any B350 mobo really, unless you plan on heavily overclocking
Memory: Corsair - Vengeance LED 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2666 Memory  ($102.99 @ Amazon)

If you don't plan on buying now, just find whatever ram is on sale
Storage: Samsung - 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  ($104.33 @ OutletPC)

For your boot drive
Storage: Western Digital - Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  ($48.44 @ OutletPC)

Since you plan on video editing AND gaming, both take a lot of space.
Video Card: Gigabyte - GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Windforce OC Video Card  ($434.98 @ Newegg)

GPU prices are rediculous right now
Power Supply: Corsair - RMx 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply  ($104.99 @ Newegg)

Solid PSU, looks nice too.
Operating System: Microsoft - Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit  ($92.99 @ Amazon)

You need on of these.
Other: Deepcool Case ($300.00)

Pretty but way too expensive
Total: $1506.68

I'd go with the other dude's build and not use this case.

The case he wants it has a CPU cooler

Im mostly on discord now and you can find me on my profile

@herman mcpootis @Tokeegee

The case he wants includes an AIO, and that AIO does not come with AM4 mounting brackets.

you could probably contact deepcool to get one, but it's just something to be aware of.

Looks good. Though the case does pretty much kill the build. $300 cases are really for $2500+ builds, or extreme water cooled rigs.

thank you all for your help, it is really appreciated. After thinking about it and reading the other comment, i'm not going to go with that case and if anyone knows of a case with a similar design and would fit with a red and black theme that would be great

Hmmmm. You could go with a NZXT S340 Elite in black and red. It's a really nice looking case, and costs around $70-$100.

Much better PSU (this'll last you for ages, with a 10/10 rating from JohnnyGuru, and a 10 year warranty), better SSD, removed the watercooler, since the R5 1600 includes a great stock cooler, bumped it to 16GB 3000MHz RAM with the money saved, added a better mobo, and got the cheapest 1050 Ti. I'd stick with the cheap 1050 Ti, and save some money to get a new, more powerful GPU once prices come back to normal and such.
