Hello, i am having a problem with my new 'rig' it came in today and i started building it but the problem now is that i when the pc starts it just sits there not doing anything and the cpu led is constantly on but when i reset the bios using the jumper and start the pc there is no led and the cpu fan i quite i have tried reseating the ram, cpu, gpu, every cable even but nothing solves my problem (yes iam aware that ryzen first boot takes a while but it doesnt take an hour)

 

parts:

Msi b350 Tomahawk

ryzen 7 1700

G.skill trident z rgb 3000mhz

msi rx 480 gaming x 

nzxt h440 hyperbeast

corsair cx550m

if you are plugged into the hdmi, it wont post since there are no drivers. VGA to HDMI, or DVI (in my case) to hdmi cables worked for me so then i could get the drivers to use the HDMI

what do you mean?

i have a gpu and cant even get into windows

okay the pc is now turned on and has no red led indicating that the ram or cpu is dead but it stil doesnt dislay anything even with a diffrent gpu

give it a bit.

the first boost takes a while. sometimes over a minute.

try only one RAM stick also.

arrow on cpu to the beveled slot corner i believe is what was said

yes the socket on this mobo even has the socket turned 90 degrees i checked but i think iam going to rma the stuff
