What to blur out in videos

I see people blurring or obscuring numbers and barcodes on labels from time to time.  In an unboxing video of any PC parts, should I blur out certain numbers or things on the packaging?  Should I remove labels? What are the risks of not "censoring" those things?  What can someone do with those numbers?

Things like:-

  1. Serial number
  2. game codes
  3. credit card numbers
  4. home & shipping addresses
  5. private social media accounts

What can they do with the above...let me sum it up...eff up your life by stealing your stuff(game codes and money from credit cards) send the S.W.A.T team to a specific address(they like to do this with live streamers whom let their address go public), send manginas to your address on Christmas day and one of the most used ones is to use your address for illegal activity.

A water-cooled mid-tier gaming PC.

Hey,

One reason which may be less likely however possible is for someone to look up the part in order to get it from the same place, it may be that someone has censored this in order to not promote a store. If you are removing the labels such as those with your personal information on, you may as well remove these as it gives a better aesthetic, will prevent problems if there are any, and could help with recording as if they are removed I would assume it will help the camera as it will not zoom in and focus on them if you have it auto focusing.

Hope this helps,

TT
