Does anyone know of any keyboards that are good for both programming and gaming? I don't know a lot about the different switch types so if someone can explain. Also something that isn't too heavy or big I'd probably be throwing it in my bag a lot and moving with it using it for a laptop. Lastly it can't be too much, at most $200.

thanks

brown switches are proabbly going to be the best. i do both and i love my brown switches! if ur budget is slightly tight then go for any of th cooler master mechanical keyboards like the quickfire TK or trigger. if u have a bit more orom in your spendgin a ducky shine 3 would probably be your best bet

Agree on the first point, browns would be better when typing into the night, but I disagree about Ducky, which are overpriced compared to the CM Storm QF TK which feels a lot more solidly built. But I still wouldn't recommend the TK (even though I have it myself) as juggling the num lock all the time to enable numeric can be annoying when typing for a long time. And programmers need both the numpad and access to the DEL cluster, which means a LOT of juggling.

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.
