So basically, I'm in the market for a new mobo, and I need some opinions. I have~350 AUD (345 CAD) and $105 is taken up by memory (I am currently on Corsair Vengeance DDR3). This leaves me with 245 AUD.

I want a Mobo that has the latest features. (SLI, M.2 Nvme, U.2, Sata Express), it needs to be Z170, Socket 1151, at least ATX (can be E-Atx), and have good overclocking. I don't mind if it has DDR3 memory (this will free the budget up to the full 350) and i would like a large number of PCIe slots, preferably 16x.

I have been looking at this:

https://www.computeralliance.com.au/gigabyte-s1151-e-atx-ga-z170x-soc-force-ddr4-motherboard?s=0&gclid=Cj0KEQjwnPLKBRC-j7nt1b7OlZwBEiQAv8lMLJ4P-BzsxtzVdjpbva-6xoE_qSykFaVAAQuua9aHatEaAvz68P8HAQ

The main reason i have not got this is because Computer Alliance is not very well trusted. If I can get this mobo, I will, even though i would have to save up more for memory.

My second choice is this:

https://www.mwave.com.au/product/asrock-fatal1ty-z270-gaming-k6-lga-1151-atx-motherboard-ab94329

Is this a good choice, or is there something better I'm missing? And would I need a new OS because I am replacing the mobo? (I still have the original install disc)

Thx
