I dont know if this is the right section.

I had one 700 APC UPS for about a year but then i needed another one for another pc right?

So i bought the same UPS but from a different retailer.

I works fine but after some time of using it you PC shuts off and the UPS starts beeping. Yes it is plugged in and it is charging.

ok so the battery backup in the ups is not kicking in for some reason. Some ups have a "reset" feature, try doing a couple of those resets and see if the problem persists.

try disconnecting stuff from the battery backup. Your psu might be getting overloaded and shutting down to protect itself.

Also, if your pc is drawing too much power( above 700va), it will shut down the ups no matter what.
