What is the build for?

Get an Asus Strix 1080 Ti to have more RGB and have Asus Aura syncs up.

Do you need NVME drive? Unless you SLI 850w is way too much.

Will the Asus Strix 1080 TI have worse performance. What do you mean by, "Do you need NVME drive?" Also, should I get SLI?

I haven't fully narrowed it down, but definitely gaming and maybe some editing. I kinda want this build to be able to do a lot.

Why do I feel like I'm being interrogated? xD

Cause you could have gone with R7 1700 instead if you do a lot of editing. If you do strictly gaming then an i7 7700k would do that is if you don't edit videos too much and fine with a 4c/8t cpu

Samsung 960 Pro is an nvme drive, it costs a lot and doesn't offer performance increase for your use case (gaming). I'd get regular SATA SSD like the 850 Evo (no need for Pro). But I doubt you will have lots of game to store that need that much storage. Not all game utilize from SSDs high speed as well. Just get a high capacity hard drive and an SSD alongside

No Asus Strix won't have worse performance, it is equal if not better.

SLI depends on the resolution and games you play and whether you have money too.

Do you have the link to the ASUS STRIX 1080 TI you're referring to?
