Hi! This is my first time to build a computer, being doing some research and I need some advise.

This is my plan of set up:

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Y2xMHN

This set up is a bit over my current budget(100$ or so), I'm wondering if its possible to make some adjustment. Perhaps some similar result with less money?

I already had a monitor so won't be needing a new one, and will decide the case for computer later.

Will do general stuff and gaming on this computer, possible video editing in the future as will.

By the way, will there be lot of difference between GTX 1070 and 1060 6G? cause it might save some money if I go for 1060. Or suggesting another 1070 card or motherboard?

Any advise will be appreciated.Thanks!

Unless you really need it (video editing or someothing along that line) get an I5-7600k (or 6600k). that should cut ur budget almost exactly $100.  Also maybe considar getting a better cooler, yes your will do but it will be load and not as efficient as lets say a h7.

The 1070 is in whole different league it has performance between a 980Ti and a Titan XM, the 1060 6GB only has the performance of a 980.

How much video editing will you actually do? Ryzen or Intel pretty much depends on how much you game and render / edit. Ryzen is cheaper, but not as good in games.

I think only occasional video editing, not as primary work.

Hmmm.....I choose the i7-7700k because it will be much work to upgrade a CPU in the future compare to other component. I was hoping it will last longer before I needed to upgrade it. But the i5 seems a lot cheaper.

So the 1070 is a lot better? How about the brand? Is MSI good? Or is there a recommended brand by your experience?
