R9 390 vs GTX 1060

Title says it all, Currently rocking a 390, will a 1060 give me better FPS in 1080p@60Hz ?

i7-3770k @ 4.5 GHz

Asrock Z77 Extreme4 

16GB DDR3 Corsair Ballistix RGB

Zotac 1070 Amp Extreme

1TB Western Digital

128GB ADATA SU800

630W Thermaltake Smart SE

That's what I thought, I don't have any problem with the heat & noise. It's just some guy who claimed 1060 gets 15-20 FPS more than 390

It seems more of a sidegrade though it would be fun to see where the R9 390 places against the new line ups from AMD and Nvidia.

might be true in some games, but not every single one. And even if so, would you pay about $300 for 20FPS? especially if it's well above 60 anyways?

I don't even think that's true.. the 390 is a powerful card, I rly doubt the 1060 is in any way better

390 is slightly worse, but you can oc it. The 390x is also on the same chip and it beats the 1060

Nah, gonna stick to it for a while. Getting 50-60FPS in almost all games in Ultra-high. And I'm quite happy.
