Yes, it will run both in 8x (Thats fine for modern GPUs).

It can, but why? a single powerful card is better than 2 weaker ones (not saying that 1070 is weak, just relative to 1080ti)

lack of crossfire/sli was the reason i went for a single powerful card instead of two lower in sli as in games not supporting it, your other gpu just sits there like looking nice and expensive, doing nothing :P

Have you tried to perform a sudden temporary interrupt of the electricity flow to your computational device followed by a re-initialization procedure of the central processing unit and associated components?
