GTA V Running Problem

It's in the AMD Gaming Evolved software, if you don't have it, you should be able to find it on AMDs site.

I use Nvidias version for most games, but be aware that it might sett a different resolution than your screen.

I have found that and turned on the auto settings for the game an it seems to be running near enough perfect now! thanks a lot for the help!

Hi Guys, I need a bit of help I recently bought GTA V as it was half price on Steam and I thought why not!

Before buying it I had a look at the 'Recommended' system requirements (see picture below) which my system meets but for some reason I am having trouble running anything over 20fps and in the city I am lucky if I get 5fps regardless of what settings I use from Low on everything or Ultra/High.

So I'm just really confused at to what the problem could be, is this a common problem with GTA V or is there potentially something up with my system?

Any help would be a massive help.

My system specs are:

Processor - Intel i5-4460

Ram - Kingston HyperX Fury 16GB

GPU - Sapphire R9 390 Nitro (8GB)

OS - Windows 10

Steam stated specs:

Steam GTA V Requirements.jpg

Personal Build

i5-4460 | BeQuiet! Dark Rock 3 | MSI Z97 – Gaming 3 | Kingston HyperX Fury Red 16GB | Sapphire R9 390 Nitro | SanDisk Z400s 256 GB | WD Blue 1TB | Corsair RMx 650W | NXZT S340

Then the issue is on GTA's graphics settings. Mind taking some screenshots?

There is 3 settings in GTA that takes alot of power. But don't remember what they where called, I can't even get into GTAV anymore because of the problems with a Social club update that's impossible to fix.

It's long since I have used an AMD GPU, but does their drivers have a quick settings for each game like Nvidia has? If it has, it should solve the problem.

Sorry for the few off Capital letters in my posts, it does it on its own when I Write in English, since my OS is in another Language. It's annoying.

I have tried various different graphics settings from having them all set to the lowest possible to mid range and high/ultra and I keep having the same problem of seriously low fps, my monitor is an ultrawide so I have tried using both 2560x1080 and 1920x1080 with no difference

It's in the AMD Gaming Evolved software, if you don't have it, you should be able to find it on AMDs site.

I use Nvidias version for most games, but be aware that it might sett a different resolution than your screen.

GTAV has a setting for scaling, if you max that, you'll have a bad time :P

Have you tried to perform a sudden temporary interrupt of the electricity flow to your computational device followed by a re-initialization procedure of the central processing unit and associated components?
