I can hear my own mic!!

Hello,

When I talk in my microphone, the microphone sounds find. The problem I have is that if I talk very loud into my mic, I can hear a faint playback of my voice. This goes away if I turn off the microphone  in the windows sound panel (or deactivate it with a button on the headset). I have made sure the boxes for "listen to device" are unticked. Any solutions? I am using a logitech g533

Solution: Don't talk so loud? :D

I wonder if the G533 has sidetone.

And in fact it does!

"The headset also features configurable “sidetone” that lets you tune the volume of your own voice you hear in your headset. Sidetone lets you hear how loudly you are speaking so you don’t unknowingly yell every word."

Their website says its configurable, but it doesn't say how to configure it anywhere I could see.
