Will i be able to use oneplus 5 for 4 years if i be careful with it? Also how much water resistant is it?I know there is so much hate for oneplus 5 but idk why. atleast in my country the price difference between oneplus and s8 is 400$ and htc u11 is 300$ so its good for the price. People hating this phone why do you hate this?Thank you

I've not seen anyone hating this phone. I suspect that you won't receive updates after the 2nd year, and you'll start noticing it slow down after the 3rd year. So technically you could use it for 4 years fairly easily.

Thats why, after EOL, You root and rom your device. Its easy and worth it.

And helps greatly the fact that oneplus gives unlocked bootloader capabilities

No water resistance. I wouldn't expect any updates at all past 2 years from launch.
