Ok, so I've been having minor problems with my USB extensions, such as a couple of fans not working since I first build my PC. Only now the problem has gotten worse and my "SupremeFX Hi-Fi" front panel audio device that came with the Edition 10 from ASUS is not working. I get the error message "USB Device Not Recognized" when I turn on my computer and I have gone through the process of updating all the USB drivers with no avail. I was using the device with a pair of Shure's in HitFilm Express when the software crashed and my device was not able to be recognized. I restarted the PC multiple times (I don't want to do it too much now because I'm not sure how good it is for it) trying to fix the problem.

And that's just the Audio device problem, I have had a couple of Radiator fans not working since the start of this year and haven't got to fix it. I think my temps run well with SpeedFan saying the CPU is at 29C at idle. I have 2 fan extension cards for my many fans but they're either not getting enough power, some connections might be faulty, or the fans themselves aren't working... I'm not sure exactly how to test this and I really need to get to these problems so they don't continue to be a nuisance.

Also, if anyone knows, approximately how long should I wait to drain and add new Mayhems cooling liquid to my loop? Oh, and when should I apply new thermal paste? The one that came with my CPU block was a phase changing one that was a hassle to reflow because the system had to be hot and running to melt the metal and the loop is hardline with the rez/pump combo being at a not optimal position. Live and learn I guess, but these problems always come to the worst of times...

is your usb hub external power or usbport powered

if usb you may have cooked the voltage regulators on the mobo

fixable but kinda tedious to do and can be beetch to find the exact part

The fans are powered by a PWM Fan card, I said USB not remembering that that's not what the fans are on. I haven't kept up with PC jargon in a long while so I have to refresh myself. The Audio Device, however, is USB and gets power from the PSU. I do remember getting an extension for my USB Ports too but I don't remember what's connected to what... I think the audio is connected to an extension board. The thing is I've never had a problem besides the volume being raised super high at a slight turn of the knob or sometimes getting random loud static and having to switch to a different audio output and switch back... So I hope it's just a faulty Device and I'll just buy a new one or one that's better...

There's No USB 1, but USB 2 and 3 are on the front panel and USB C, 3, and 2 are at the back. But that's on the mobo so I don't think that has something to do with it... I have to check; if I recall correctly, the front panel USBs should be on the extension chip and the audio panel should be on its own USB... BUT NOW THAT I THINK OF IT... I'm checking the manual and there are 2 types of USB 2.0 connectors (1112 and 1314) AND 2 USB 3.0 connectors (3_12 and 3_34) on the motherboard. There's a possibility I'm not using one of them or I'm using them wrong and I need to check what kind of cables need to go where... oh my god... I'm pretty confused right now but I see in the manual that there's a "Front Panel Audio Connector" on the mobo and that might be what I am mistaking for a USB on the back of the Audio Panel. I'm sorry that this is going everywhere but I am going to have to map out all my connections... I'll take some pictures of what I'm looking at
