CPU upgrade suggestions

I currently have a amd rx(tm) 6300 six-core processor and the socket type is am3+ and I'm looking to upgrade as well as upgrade the cooling fan too something quieter. please reply with suggestions and it's 3.5 ghz as well and if you want to leave a ram upgrade as well it would be much appreciated I have 8gb but I'm looking for more soon.

Budget? Ideally I would say get a r5 1600 with 16gb of ram on a b350 board. Also what form factor is your build? ATX mATX?

Umm, first do you consider getting a new mobo too (with AM4 socket), cuz if you do, you could work with any Ryzen CPU just fine( their stock fan fairly quiet btw if you ran it with the default speed)

now about the ram picking, it really has to do with your mobo vendor list so yea if you could kindly tell us your mobo name it would be easier for us to recommend you one
