Looking for a 7.1 Setup

What is a good 7.1 setup both headset and soundcard for gaming. Please let me know your opinions and any help would be great.

Corsair Vengeance 1500 or 2000.

I wouldnt bother with surround sound headsets. If you want soundstage, get an open back headphones. Corsair vengeance 1500 sounded ok at best. My best sub $100 headphones is still the Carcharias which (with proper software) can give that surround feeling as much or even more than the corsair 1500 and 2000.

Do not go for the Vengeance 2000 unless you want to change headsets every month. I went through 2 with the same problem. The earcup just kept cracking off.
