GPU Sober Second Thought

Hello all, 

 

I'm piecing together new rig and was browsing dell for a monitor and stumbled upon a GPU for sale. 

 

I want to know if this is a decent buy. I'm looking at

One is a PNY 1070 8GB for $549 the other PNY 1070 OC 8GB for $630

 

I get 5% back from dell (probably buying a Logitech G403) and 6% back from ebates so 

about $27.50 in dell credits towards a mouse and $33 cash back from ebates on the $549 and $31.5 in dell credit and $37.8 in ebates on the $630 one. 

 

Just wondering if these are good deals or should I keep looking.I'm leaning more towards the OC'ed version

The GTX 1070 market is in bad shape right now. Cryptocurrency mining is jacking up the prices on those a ton right now. On Amazon, a 1080 is cheaper than a 1070 currently. At the current prices, that is a decent price, but its about $100 over the normal MSRP. They normally are in the $400-$450 range.
