Keyboard input lag

Hello i have had issues with my keyboard, when i try to type @ or £ after i type these symbols in there will be a 3-4 second delay before anything appears on the screen, i have tried various keyboards and it doesnt seem to fix the problem, this might be a windows bug. Is there anyone else with these issues, and is there a fix to the problem?

I just tried doing this on my PC, did you ever try opening task manager and going to the performance tab, leaving that open, and trying to type that out in notepad or similar just to see what happens? Also what are your PC specs? It's a little weird for this to be happening.

• Click on Settings.
• Click on Time & language.
• Click on Region & language.
• Click on the language you wish to add a keyboard layout to.
• Click on Options.
• Click on Add a keyboard.
• Click on the keyboard you want to add.

i am rocking a intel i7 6700k 16 gigs of DDR4 ram and 2 Nvidia 1070's so i dont think it should be a preformance thing
