Not seeing anything weird. Also I'm running W10.

What does that "Fix SCROLL LOCK Key" option do for you? It didn't have any effects for me; but my setup is already working. To be clear, the problem is that it defaults to locked instead of unlocked, correct?

Hi all. I was wanting to know if I could disable the scroll lock on synergy and not have any hotkeys? I want to just be able to move my mouse from one screen to the other with out pressing a key.  I wouldn't mind hitting scroll lock but it controls my RGB leds on the keyboard.

Are you saying you currently have to press a key to get your mouse from one screen to another? And I wasn't aware Synergy had a default hotkey.. let me look at it.

Edit: Scroll lock toggles the locking of your mouse to the screen it's currently on, learn something new everyday. I'll look at how to disable it.

Q: Do I have a virus?!
A: If you didn't click a sketchy email, haven't left your computer physically open to attack, haven't downloaded anything sketchy/free, know that your software hasn't been exploited in a new hack, then the answer is: probably not.

Q: What email/VPN should I use?
A: Proton mail and VPN are the best for email and VPNs respectively. (They're free in a good way)

Q: How can I stay anonymous on the (deep/dark) webzz???....

A: By learning how to de-anonymize everyone else; if you can do that, then you know what to do for yourself.

Q: What Linux distro is best for x y z?

A: Lubuntu for things with little processing power, Ubuntu for normal PCs, and if you need to do anything else then it's best if you do the research yourself.

Q: Why is my Linux giving me x y z error?

A: Have you not googled it? Are you sure StackOverflow doesn't have an answer? Does the error tell you what's wrong? If the answer is no to all of those, message me.

Yes anytime I use synergy it defaults to the scroll lock and I have to press it to switch to the second screen.

look at my edit, it doesn't work like that for me.

As soon as I connected my Linux computer client to my Windows server it worked, as did the shared clipboard. Drag and drop however does not work with Linux :(
I don't know why your Synergy would require that. What OS is your server and what OS is your client?

Found it I think. Open up your Synergy GUI on the server and click: Configure Server -> Hotkeys and check for anything weird there.

Ok so I enabled the fix scroll lock on both and when I pressed scroll lock to turn off lights and pressed it again to keep the lights on and it works perfectly now.
