Hi all,

I have finished the Witcher 3 a while ago. Now my friend is looking to build his first gaming PC but he's on a budget, so I wanted to suggest him to target games like the Witcher 3 on 30 fps, which should be playable. I installed it again and limited the fps to 30 so I can show him what that would be like.

For some reason when I limit the fps to 30 I get huge lag. So if I am running whilst turning with my mouse repeatedly, the fps will stay the same but the image will turn very slowly and continue for up to two seconds after I stopped moving the mouse. It only happens when I am moving and looking around, when I am standing still everything is fine.

Any idea what this could be and how I can fix it?

(I already turned hardware cursor on)

Thanks :)

Well I know it should be a little more laggy. But when I stand still I can shake the mouse and it will react normally, when I move everything slows way down while the fps and frame times are the same, that is not what low fps should do.

It was the GOG overlay that was screwing things up in some magical way.

Lots of overlays do that so I disable them any time it's an option.
