The H115i is powered off the Sata bus, and is controlled, via USB, for pump speed and fan curves with the Corsair Link software.

I should know, I own one.

It has absolutely nothing to do with his problem. ...but i do not see that the USB header is attached to the cold plate.

no dude you know nothing, lol USB is only 5 volt your pump and you fans are all 12v. usb controls speed as well but you do not have to connect it to run the pump. if you think USB can power 2 pwm fan and a pump you are very wrong. just unplug it from your motherboard and see it can run. you can connect a case fan to cpu fan by your analogy. but dont blame me if your cpu died. you have a point though. i cant see where he connected his aio pump to.

for the third fucking time, the H115i  is powered off the SATA bus. There is a connector from the cold plate that has a SATA male power connector at the end, which plugs into the female SATA power cables from the PSU.

I don't know how much plainer i can make that.

the USB cable is for Lighting control, fan control, and pump speed control, as well as temperature reporting to Corsair Link software.

I think 1700x doesn't have gpu but am4 motherboards have connectors. You didn't connect your monitor to motherboard by any chance?

Well since you cannot see on your monitor my suggestion will be hard to confirm but I have that board paired with an 1800x with an h110i and during initial setup there is a cpu fan speed sensor that you must set to ignore in order to boot, every time my overclock would fail that had to again be set to ignore unfortunately you have no monitor to confirm, borrow a known working monitor and see if that works?

he used 2 different monitors he says. are you talking about LN2 switch? its dangerous to play with that stuff if you are not doing LN2 overclock. All of these problems are the reason that i don't believe in all of this Ryzen fevers.I am no intel fan but AMD is very shitty company in my view. from compatibility issues to availability issue i never said ok, its time to make  AMD computer lol. right no its impossible to buy RX 580 or 480

No not the LN2 there are 2 cpu fan headers on the hero 1 as cpu opt and 1 as cpu fan if you hook up the rpm cable from the cooler to the cpu opt header then the board thinks there is no cooling solution and it needs to be disabled in the bios, missed the part about already using another monitor though.

oh i now, this is what we have been discussing with knightslugger , you don't have to disable anything, just connect the 3 pin pump cable to cpu header not opt cpu header. Although this is not thtguy2255's problem.

yes, in his picture i can see he smartly connected a case fan to it. he knows what he is doing :). he is pro, his problem is bigger.
