Hello

I would be thankful if you could help me. I will have a desktop pc in my room soon, but I just realised that I have no way of connecting it to the internet. I have these three possibilities:

1. Router that I would connect to via cable is in the other room. However, I have a tiny hole in my wall, in which I would be able to wire the cable through, only without the ending. I found a couple of ways how to remove and put the ending back online, but I do not think I would be able to do it by myself. In addition, I don't have a clipping tool.

2. Technically, I could opt for a mobo such as strix z270 with on board WiFi. That would cost me good 50€ more though. (Do I need some extra antennas to buy, or are they included?)

3. Last way is to get a WiFi card, but they look terrible and would cost me some extra bucks as well.

Thank you so much in advance, guys :D

by clipping tool you mean crimping tool for the rj45 connector right?...well yeah if you do not have one of those then do not remove any of the connectors from the ethernet cable. The wired way would be the best though if you do FPS gaming .

You could use the WIFI that comes with the MOBO and that too does come with antennas but some of them do not look like the spokes that are from a normal router. These can be quiet buggy but i have had no issues with mine on my MOBO.  I can understand why you would have to pay for this when it comes in the MOBO box according to which MOBO you get.

You can get a wifi card and i am guessing this is from a prebuilt store and this would work too bu not as good as the wired connection.

A water-cooled mid-tier gaming PC.

Yes, I meant that. I was able to find a guy that would help me with it, so I got that figured out :D Good point with the antennas though, and yes, I do FPS gaming :)

Thanks again mate :3
