I have wanted to try mining for a while now and I've been looking for components. Shipping costs bring the price up for components quite a bit, so I've been looking at domestic used markets, ebay and aliexpress. I've found a cpu and motherboard. The cpu i found on aliexpress is an Intel Pentium G3240T for approx. 40 USD, and I found the motherboard used at a Norwegian website. The mobo is an ASrock z87 OC, the price is write high (117 USD), but any other motherboard I've looked at on ebay get quite expensive after shipping.

Would those components work well?

CPU matters very little in mining rigs as most will do fine (that ones fine aswell), as for motherboard you want one with as many PCI-e lanes as possible, there are extenders that use PCIe x1 slots to full x16.
