Hey'all, so I'm trying to overclock my 9800gt, and I'm wondering why I cannot control the voltage. I've checked "unlock voltage control" in MSI afterburner settings, so it should work. I'm using the latest drivers for the card as well as the latest version of MSI Afterburner. Should I try downgrading afterburner versions? I can't imagine that the issue would be drivers.

I bumped the speeds up a little bit, but I don't have voltage control so er, I'd like to OC when I can can actually control it. It's not even an option that I can select in the monitoring tab. Am I missing something? Plz help.

Also if anyone has any input as to overclocking the card I'd appreciate it. Thankee

if you can't control voltage, well you can't control voltage. keep bumping up the core clock until you reach the point where it's unstable.

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

Oh, I'm legitimately not sure then, is there anything in Afterburner's settings?

There's an option to unlock voltage control and the same for voltage monitoring, I've checked both, but I can neither control nor monitor voltage.
