DIY Case

Hi,

 

Was wondering if anybody has ever made their own case. I'd be very interested to hear stories/tips/tutorials/whatevers. (I looked online for some info, but as far as I'm concerned this forum is probably the best place.)

I've attempted with old PC componites but some of the cases where unconventonal and heavy. a suggestion is to take a old computer case. gut the thing and mount all your componites on another object. I always just rigged a pc to and object never home built a case. also upgrades are alot harder with a custom case if you built it to space and not in a huge object.

Regarding upgrades, I'm wondering if it's possible to make some kind of case that is modular...

 

(I'm just thinking crazy stuff here. I have NO experience in DIY stuff.)

Yep and can be very cheap and you get to choose your own design
