Hey guys i'm new to the forum but just wanted a little bit of your help. So my current setup is like this:

-(CPU) Intel Core i5 3450 @ 3.10GHz

-(RAM) 8.00 GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 800MHz

-(Motherboard) MSI Z77A-G45 (MS-7752)

-(GPU) NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660

 

Now should I maybe sli the gtx 660, or buy lets say a 770?

SLI the 660s. More performance.

Save for a 780 or even 780ti other than that I believe you look good.

A 660 can be around $200 USD, two of them are $400.

 

I would go with a 280x or 290. If you want Nvidia then I'd say save up a bit more and get a 780.

 

Single GPU>Dual GPU's. I have two 7870's and I'd rather have one single 290/780.

I would buy 770 for you'll have the perspective in the future to sli them, which will be superior to 660 sli's.

If you can afford 780, then go grab it. It's even better than 770

I think 770, less problem with games. Not all games use both gpu's
