So maybe 3 or 4 days ago I tried to copy some work over from my memory stick, but my PC wouldn't show recognise it. There was no error notification, no "USB Device not Recognised", nothing. Same thing with my external HDD. My keyboard and mouse do work (they are USB as well). The devices are powered though. The external hard drive is spinning and its LED glows so the ports aren't dead.

I then reinstalled my drivers (I got them from Gigabytes page so they are official and for my motherboard), then restarted my PC. And the USB ports now worked. Here is the shitty part. The next day i try to load something from my external drive and boom, same thing. As if i never reinstalled my drivers. So i reinstalled them again. And again it worked. Until today, when they stopped working again. These are all USB 3.

What is going on?

How can I fix this without having to reinstall my drivers every time I turn on my PC and without reinstalling my OS ( I really don't want to reinstall my OS because of the 1TB of games that Probably wont work after the reinstall.)
